My (Brief) Experience With Medical Tourism Pt. 2

For some reason every time I have some infection I wind up in Bangkok. After successfully freaking myself out with with wrong diagnosis (the only symptoms and pictures I could find that matched mine were the beginnings of leprosy…haha) I figured I should get this little thing checked out. So of course, where else did I go but Bumrungrad International Hospital!

Many times when diving water will get into the ear canal as a result of your ear being saturated with water, causing difficulty hearing. After my last dive I was having some difficulty hearing and thought that perhaps it was simply water still caught in my ear canal, so naturally I felt like I should clean it out. Bad idea.
