What's got dark blacks, bright whites and is red all over? The Samsung 46" 120Hz LCD TV or as Samsung likes to call it, the LN46A650. I've had this TV for about a month now and I couldn't be happier. With some of the best blacks I've seen in an LCD or Plasma, picture quality that will astound you from all angles, and great features, this is definitely a TV that deserves at the very least, a second look.

For some reason every time I have some infection I wind up in Bangkok. After successfully freaking myself out with with wrong diagnosis (the only symptoms and pictures I could find that matched mine were the beginnings of leprosy...haha) I figured I should get this little thing checked out. So of course, where else did I go but Bumrungrad International Hospital!

Recently I was in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia and I flew to Kuala Lumpur then directly to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The flights were the usual Air Asia, basically low cost airfare similar to Southwest Airlines only with Asian stewardesses. The arrival into Phnom Penh airport was much like other Southeast Asian airports, but don't start thinking that meant it was mundane.

Here's a quick video of the sunrise from the Low's Peak (4095m), the summit of Mt. Kinabalu. Mt. Kinabalu is Southeast Asia's tallest mountain and I recently climbed it on a two day trek. It was tougher than I thought it would be, pretty much straight up and straight down!

Sorry about the cheesy title, it was just too easy, but the more I try to think of a better one, the more I like this one... Anyways, I'm sitting in a coffee shop in Kuala Lumpur finishing this post after roughly two weeks in Chiang Mai, Thailand's second largest city. Yes, I'm doing it Star Wars style with Part 2 coming before Part 1. This might not make much sense, but I'm not done with Part 1 and it's been a while since I gave you something good.

Many times when diving water will get into the ear canal as a result of your ear being saturated with water, causing difficulty hearing. After my last dive I was having some difficulty hearing and thought that perhaps it was simply water still caught in my ear canal, so naturally I felt like I should clean it out. Bad idea.

My trip thus far has been loads fun and incredibly enlightening, however, I realized that there were many skills I hoped to learn in my life and that I could learn on this trip as well. One of those happened to be scuba diving. Diving had been a dream of mine, well that is up until I tried it out during summer camp I attended in middle school...

It's been difficult to figure out what I'm eating most of the time, and I'm not kidding! I've been trying to eat at smaller places that are more cultural. In fact I was just smelling my hands wondering what that smell was and I'm realizing it's the smell of the fried tofu balls I had last night at a little dim sum shop.
