We Made It! Pictures are Posted

David and I made it to the top, unfortuanately at separate times so we didn’t get a picture together.  We switched it up mid-trip and did a 6-day because we were feeling pretty good.

Mt. Kilimanjaro – Machame Route

As of Friday night (late) we have been in Moshi, a small town nearby Mt. Kilimanjaro. There is little to do, but it is interesting getting to really experience Africa (more on this later).

Made it To Nairobi

We finally made it to Nairobi after some fear we wouldn’t make our connecting flight in Qatar.  Due to the crash landing at London Heathrow from a British Airways flight yesterday (nobody was seriously injured) there were long delays and over 300 flights were cancelled.  Luckily ours was not one of them.  Our flight was delayed 3 hours, [...]
