Review: Samsung 46″ 120Hz LCD TV (LN46A650)

What’s got dark blacks, bright whites and is red all over? The Samsung 46″ 120Hz LCD TV or as Samsung likes to call it, the LN46A650. I’ve had this TV for about a month now and I couldn’t be happier. With some of the best blacks I’ve seen in an LCD or Plasma, picture quality that will astound you from all angles, and great features, this is definitely a TV that deserves at the very least, a second look.

Climbing Kilimanjaro: Machame Route

For some reason every time I have some infection I wind up in Bangkok. After successfully freaking myself out with with wrong diagnosis (the only symptoms and pictures I could find that matched mine were the beginnings of leprosy…haha) I figured I should get this little thing checked out. So of course, where else did I go but Bumrungrad International Hospital!

A Motorbike Affair

Recently I was in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia and I flew to Kuala Lumpur then directly to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The flights were the usual Air Asia, basically low cost airfare similar to Southwest Airlines only with Asian stewardesses. The arrival into Phnom Penh airport was much like other Southeast Asian airports, but don’t start thinking that meant it was mundane.

Sunrise on Mt. Kinabalu

Here’s a quick video of the sunrise from the Low’s Peak (4095m), the summit of Mt. Kinabalu. Mt. Kinabalu is Southeast Asia’s tallest mountain and I recently climbed it on a two day trek. It was tougher than I thought it would be, pretty much straight up and straight down!
